As of  June 21,  2013, RNLA has purchased:
  • (187) single family homes;
  • (39) 2 – 4 unit properties with a total of 81 units; and
  • (7) Multi-family properties with a total of 72 units.
Together, these properties represent 324 housing units.  Properties will be rehabilitated and brought up to code-compliant and energy-efficient “Green” building standards.  RNLA will sell single family homes to low and moderate-income homebuyers and sell multi-family properties to other mission-driven agencies for affordable rental housing.
On an ongoing basis, RNLA identifies foreclosed and abandoned properties for acquisition through multiple sources including entities that list properties for sale by lending institutions and real estate agents who look for properties on behalf of RNLA.  RNLA staff screen these properties to determine if they meet the acquisition criteria established by the NSP Program and the City of Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD).  This property identification and acquisition process is continuous, so there is always a pipeline of properties that will flow into rehabilitation and sales.
All of the properties RNLA purchased are listed below in the following 5 categories:
  • Purchased by RNLA
  • In Construction
  • For Sale
  • Pending Sale
  • Sold
To view each category, click on the appropriate tab at the left of the screen.  (For the properties purchased and in construction, RNLA is providing only the street name at this time because we do not want to encourage people to visit the property prior to the completion of construction.  As soon as the rehabilitation is complete, RNLA will update the address information.)
